Business Challenge​

The client’s architecture was based around a mobile app for women’s reproductive health. The app gathered data about users’ menstrual cycle and other related inputs, analyzed data within a data science AI module, and made predictions related to 30+ medical categories. The client’s objective was to become a wider comprehensive platform for women’s health, and to enable exchange of data with other related medical applications and services.

Our Approach​

We created a new data architecture based on Amazon Web Services to enable data gathering from diverse sources in diverse formats and data ingestion. The processed individual health records are a basis for the analyses performed by the data science department and for creation of inputs into our client’s solution and other partner apps.

Result

The pilot for the health data platform on AWS was implemented. A central customer database was created, as well as connectors to the third-party applications and data sources. The platform was fully integrated into existing IT systems and processes.
