The Zagreb-based company, specializing in cloud data engineering, has been granted patent number 11,829,343 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for its solution that significantly enhances data migration to the cloud for users.

The patent’s authors are Tomislav Domanovac, one of Syntio’s founders, and Ivan Zeko, a Senior Data Engineer. The successful international patenting by this prestigious organization is a significant achievement for Syntio, making it one of the few Croatian companies with such recognition. Even before this success, the importance of this company had been recognized for two consecutive years by the Financial Times, which included Syntio in its FT 1000 list of the fastest-growing European companies.

“During the development of our Dataphos Publisher tool, we designed a special method that improves data migration to the cloud for our users. This solution optimizes business processes related to cloud services, such as data organization, and information compression, and ultimately enables our users to make business decisions more quickly. The successful patenting in the U.S. confirms the quality of our products and serves as a crucial acknowledgment for all the effort we’ve put into developing our multi-cloud platform”, stated Davorin Cetto, director and one of Syntio’s founders.

Syntio’s client portfolio includes leading multinational companies in retail, logistics, telecommunications, finance, pharmaceuticals, and hospitality. They perceive their role in the market through the integration of data engineering, cloud technology, and innovation. Specifically, Syntio is one of the top Google Cloud partners for data engineering at the highest level. In addition to Google, they are also partners with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is a federal agency in the U.S. responsible for approving and registering patents. The organization operates internationally and serves as a global authority in the field of patent issuance, establishing high criteria in the patenting process, and adding significance to the recognition earned by Syntio through successful patenting.
